Questions For My American Cousins

I know I have a few American readers to this blog (hi y'all) and I sometimes get a bit curious about a few things and wonder about some of the differences between us Brits and Americans.
.
So .... if you're an American, please answer the following questions
.
Ready?
.
Q1. Who is our Prime Minister?
.
.
Q2. Does Hugh Laurie in "House" sound like an American, or somebody British doing a bad American accent?
.
.
Q3. You all live in houses like those on Wisteria Lane, right?
.
.
Q4. Except New Yorker's who live in apartments like on Friends?
.
.
Q5. Do you know who this is?
.

.
Q6. Do you watch any British versions of TV shows?
.

.
Q.7 What are Sloppy Jo's ??
.

.
Q8. Is "Mythbusters" popular in America? (because I love it!)
.

.
Q9. Do you really go back to work on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas)?
.

.
Q10. Do you all say "Have a nice day"?
.

.
.

I will attempt this.

1.Is it Tony Blair still??

2.Hugh Laurie probably sounds American on the show, but this was hard because I know he has a British accent.

3. My house is somewhat similar

4. I don't know any New yorkers.

5. Of coarse. She is huge here. Victoria Beckham or Posh Spice

6.I don't think so

7. Sloppy Jo's are hamburger mixed with a sauce that is similar to Barbeque sauce or Ketchup. Then served on a bun. My Hubby hates them.

8. Love Mythbusters too

9.Unfortunately we do

10.I had to really think about this one but we really do. In versions, "Have a good weekend" or "Have a good holiday"

Are you ready? This is going to be lenghty! I have a fondness in my heart for Britan.
All parts, and things.
1. It is Gordon Brown
2. He is british, I think he does a good job with the american accent. I love him on the old Wooster and Jeeves show.
3. Don't we wish we all lived in those kind of houses. We have Dole housing here too. We even have semi-detached houses. I think they are a little less common though.
4.Awnsered above.
5. Yes, you would have to live with your head in a box not to.
6. I have been trying to watch "Dr. Who" for months, I haven't been able to track it down. I don't have the right channels. If you were referring only to the news broadcast. I don't get that channel either.
7. Sloppy joe's.... I am assuming you are asking about our version. Which is ground mince with a spicy tomatoey sauce on a bun. Quite good, but messy. Hence, the first part of the name.
8. I love Mythbusters!!! When they have a marathon, you cannot pry anyone in my family away from it.
9. Most people do work on boxing day. It is so stupid.
10. A lot of people do say it. I say it and occasionally change it up by subtituting other adjectives. Not very creative. I will have to come up with something else.
Was that long winded enough for you?
