Waist Not? Want Not!

.
Okay, so you're into wearing corsets and having an hour-glass figure.
.
So do you work hard at keeping the weight off?
.
Do lots and lots of stomach crunches?
.
Make sure you do lots of hoola-hooping to keep that waistline nice and trim?
.

Nah!

.You get your ribs removed by a plastic surgeon of course!

.

.

.

.

.
Personally, I would have considered a face-lift and boob-lift before worrying about my ribs.

Ouch - that looks bloody painful! And not really that attractive. And it has the added side effect of making her backside look huge!

O M F G - {sorry for the F mother of JB JB}

surely it shouldn't be possible to legally do that kind of surgery? It must put her spine in danger?

I my goodness - i thought you'd digitally enhanced the photo for a minute then I scrolled down to see the next few - What a crazy lady - and It DOES NOT look nice at all. What sort of doctor would do that to a woman?

It's something stupid like 8 inches around her waist - she holds the Guiness World Record.

Thankfully my other half tried the Tube Challenge (and tried to include me) it was less painful and less time consuming.

I think I saw this woman on the tv once. Clearly barking.

Your blog's really been making me chuckle!

I'm sure she could have had a nicer shape with the ribs intact and still with the corset, but I do agree about the boob and face lift priority!! x

Holy crow! I mean I am no sevelte oil painting but I would not do that to myself! what on earth must you be thinking to go and do a mad thing like that?

It seems to make her somach stick out more! and it looks really uncomfortable! totally weird!

See the problem I have with corsets is that all the stuff the corset is trying to pull in just escapes from the top and the bottom so while my waistline might appear slimmer my boobs and bum triple in size...and that's so not a good look. :)

And just a quick question. Why does she need three suspenders on each leg to hold up her stockings?

Oh my. How does her top half not topple off? That can't be good for you. Eek!

you ARE aware that this woman, Cathy Jung, has NOT had her ribs removed.... the extreme, and beautiful, 15" waist she has achieved was done with patient and persistant corsetry...

perhaps do a tiny bit of research?

and the rest of you could do with a little less gullibility.

Still horrible. Ribs or no ribs it's wrong.
Her insides must be so squished or misplaced, it can't possibly feel comfortable. A pair of tight jeans is bad enough ! This woman has taken corsetry to the extreme.

Look at this lady http://www.corsetworld.com/ethel_granger.html

She looks like she's been cut in half and cellotaped back together. Eeeeewwwwww !

Response to dejennarate

I would have responded directly to your comment, but I see from your blogger profile that you only created your profile this month and have not published any contact details.

I was sent these pictures in an email with the explanation that she had achieved this look by having her ribs removed. At no point int he email was her name given. My post was not based on any research of my own - because, to be honest, I don't really want to do any research into people who choose to disfigure themselves in this way. I merely posted the pictures because *in my opinion* (and it is a free country here in the UK) they are shocking and extreme. Whether this lady achieved her look by surgery or corsetry was not really the point of the post.
