I read that post yesterday and it frightened the life out of me. Thanks for linking to it.

Very scary but just to balance things out can I just point out that such things are actually no more common than they were 50 years ago but these days we hear about all of them where as then you'd only hear if it happened in your village and it is still incredibly rare.

I visited and read the post. You really do need eyes in the back of your head all the time with small kids. I am always very weary when I take Sophie out, especially in crowded places, it would not take much..... Sophie is only 6 months older than Madeliene McCann and we went to Italy 5 months after she disappeared and I was watching her like a hawk!!! She attracted some attention as she is a pretty girl and in the past i would have been flattered for her, but know it is often tainted with doubt. It is a shame that society has moved in this direction. Thank you for higlighting this.
On a happier note I have a cute tag button on my blog for you from the USA.

My God, you just don't know who is around. I would have been up for murder if I had caught that guy!

Thank you for sharing. What a shocking world we live in. It does make you wonder....doesn't it?

Thankfully no harm was done, but what if that lady hadn't have said what she did? Ooh...how terrible.
