The Circus Came To Town

.
Me and Granny*jelly took one of these...
.
.
... to here ...
.
.
... so that we could join this bunch of people ...
.
.
... because we had tickets to see these boys ...
.
.
... hang on, just let me adjust the camera settings ...
..
.
* SCREAM ! *
.
.
.
.
They were PHENOMENAL!!!
.
.
(If you've got tickets to go and see them, then I suggest you don't read the rest of this post)
.
.
There was this ...
.
.
Some of this ...
.
.
Plenty of this ...
.
.
And I couldn't believe it when Gary spotted me in the crowd of 65,000 and gave me a wave!
.
.
Then he told the other boys to look out for me ...
.
"Is she straight ahead or up there?"
.
.
"No! She's over there"
.
.
"I'm telling you, she's over in that direction"
.
.
"Hands up if you're not called Mrs Jelly"
.
."Oh, there we go, now I see her"
.
.
Seriously though, it was the best hour and a half of singing and screaming I've had in a long time and I'll leave you with some more pictures ...
.
(because I've got 155 photos to choose from!)
.
.
.
.
.
. .
.
.

Oh My God, I am wetting my pants!! I loved Take That back in the days when I lived in the UK. We don't hear about them much in Australia these days but I still have a real fondness for them. It takes me back to when I was young, carefree, travelling, wandering the world....sigh....the concert looks like it was fanbloodytastic.

I have never been a big Take That fan, not even first time around (too much of an indie chick) but when I've seen snippets of the show I have had to concede they do put on an amazing do. And they look great, much better now than in those slightly dodgy early days.

Amazing pics too - 155 photos? Wow, you were busy!!!

So, do I have to buy a hat, and will we have to call you Mrs Barlow? x

My sis and a gang of her mates are going to Manc gig on 27th. One friend has seen them already & has raved about it ever since. She's going 3 or 4 times!!
Personally I'm more excited by my tickets for November...to see Muse!!! :O)
Your photos are amazing though, Mrs C. Don't blame you for watermarking them. Fab!!

Okay, now I feel like I'm missing out on something... I've never heard of those guys. But it sure seems like I should have...

Aren't they just amazing, loved them before, love them even more now, sigh!!

I was meant to be seeing them at Wembley on 1st July, but can't now as my friend bought standing tickets and sadly I can't do that for long periods these days, dodgy feet, won't bore you details.

It was lovely looking at your piccies, I want to take all the guys home with me ;o) xx

Ok, so I'm not a Take That fan, but your post about them looking for you in the crowd really made me giggle! Especially the bit about "put your hands up if you're not Mrs Jelly" - so funny!
