When Would You Go To?

Just imagine for a moment that time-travel has been developed so that it's really possible to do
.
Instead of going to a travel agent to book a holiday, you can now go to a
"Time-Agent" and book a time-travel trip...
.

.
However, Time-Travel is still a new science so there are a few rules though:
.
1) You can only time-travel ONCE in your life until they improve the side-affects.
.
2) You can only travel to a place for 2 weeks' "history-time", which only takes one-second in real life. Therefore you don't need to eat, drink or sleep whilst on your fortnight 'away'
.
3) You cannot be seen or heard and you cannot touch anything, but you can walk wherever you choose. This is to avoid any paradoxes in the space-time-continuum. You cannot therefore go back and change history, but you are also safe from harm.
.
(4) You can go to whenever you choose, but you can only go BACK in history, you can't go to the future.
.
(5) When you return you cannot speak of what you have seen because it will spoil it for other time-travellers.
.
So, when would you go to?
.

.
I'd like to see ancient Rome.
.

.
To be able to see, hear and smell it and look at what the ladies are wearing and how they do their hair.
.
.
.
You can either let me know when you'd go to by leaving a comment on this post or play along on your own blog ... either way, I'd love to know!

Great post! So hard to choose... maybe to Paris during the Impressionist Period, or London in the 1960's!
Definitely back to my early childhood, to see all of my extended family, young and healthy, plus childhood friends from long ago!

such a thought provoking post! I think having lived in Norway for some time now and been curious as to what the old way of life was like I would go back 200 years to see how tough life was back then.
