To Sleep, Perchance To Dream

.
I've had a few weird dreams lately.
..
Sadly, not the sort of dreams that involve George Clooney, Nick Knowles, David Tennant and a can of whippy cream.
.
.
Mmmmmmm.
.
Sorry.
Got a bit distracted there for a minute.
.
.
.
.
No. I'm talking about the other sort of dreams that leave your duvet cover looking like a tornado has ripped through the bedroom.
.
.
3 nights ago I dreamt I lost all of my lower teeth one by one.
.
.

.
Little pegs of teeth just falling out all over the place.

2 nights ago I dreamt I was running along the street, only, and here's the weird part, I wasn't running away from anything, just running.

.
Me running for fun? Now that is weird.
.

And then last night I dreamt I was in the sea with great big waves crashing over my head and I was trying to reach boy*jelly who was bobbing up and down on top of the waves.

.

.
Now I'm no psychiatrist, but I think I might be feeling a little stressed right now and my subconscious is trying to tell me something.

.

I think maybe it's telling me:

.
"look after your teeth, running is only for your dreams and don't go swimming in the sea"
.
.
What's your weirdest dream?
.
.
.

Where do I start? All my dreams are weird! Its a pretty strange world in my head. But one I remember, because of your toothy dream, is one where all my toes started to fall off, and I knew that when the last one fell off I would fall over!
Oh dear! Suzie. x :)

I have the teeth one. Its an anxiety dream apparently! Oh yeah found out Nick Knowles (age 47) has girlfriend (age 19!) I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions!!!

Nick Knowles/girlfriend-ness...erm okay! Thats kinda wierd he would be old enough to be her DAD! I just read that his girlfriend is 24 which is still pretty young lol. Especially as he has a 15 year old son. How random!

Anyhoo so what I was actually going to write is that I have random dreams - the week before we moved from our flat to our current house - I kept having dreams that involved me falling down the stairs - sometimes I'd be like seriously injured (And it would turn into an episode of House MD) or I'd bounce and be fine at the other end.

my best friend and her boyfriend were going through a rough patch when we were in sixth form and I had this dream. my best friend (bf for short on this occasion) and her boyf were getting married (yeah it was a dream ok) and at the "if anyone here present has a reason why these two shouldn't be married..." bit my exboyf (who had a serious crush on my bf - yep life does kinda suck especially as he had a crush on her before breaking up with me) comes running in and say stop etc and then there is a string quartet in a bath tub - yup in the middle of the church!

in the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.
To dream that you are running alone, signifies that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Alternatively, you may be running from some situation or from temptation. Or it may also mean that you need to hurry up in making a decision.
To dream that you are swimming, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious mind and emotions. The dream may be a sign that you are seeking some sort of emotional support. It is a common dream image for people going through therapy.
If you are riding a wave, then it indicates that you are trying to get a handle on your emotions.

If you believe in all this dream interpretation I am not sure what the above info tells you....

and by the way thanks for sending the spiderabbits down to me... I had a whopper run acoss the lounge floor! arrrgh!

Wow, Pink Feather Paradise, you have the answers! We need to talk . . .

I was having a nightmare so awful the other night that in my dream I kept screaming, "Rick, wake me up! Rick, wake me up!" It was one of those dreams where you sort of knew you were dreaming but maybe not, and I was hoping to telepathically reach Rick. Whew!

Last night was a little better. I was flying somewhere with a girlfriend in a super first class fancy plane. We had a lot of trouble getting to the airport on time, but we made it.

OK, Pink, let's have it! :)

What an exciting night life you lead. Don't seem to remember many dreams these days - don't seems to remember my waking hours either ...

Mine is when I'm stressed. In my dream I am being chased by people who want to take some part of my body ie my knee, my elbow....you get the picture.
Scary scary scary I hate that dream!!

I have two recurring dreams...
1.my teeth start to crumble into powder... I take that as a need to increase my calcium intake and clean my teeth properly.
2.i never did graduate from university because I forgot to sit for one history paper... this one, i totally have no interpretation and it freak me out. So I have to spend a few minutes calmin myself down and reminding myself that I had attended my graduation ceremony and all...

I read somewhere once that in dreams, teeth signify friendships and so losing your teeth may mean you're worried about losing touch with your friends?
Maybe it's because you've been so busy lately!
